FAQ

Are these sunglasses UV protected?

Yes. All sunglasses provide 100% UV protection with CAT3 UV400 lenses, blocking harmful UVA and UVB rays.

What does CAT3 UV400 mean?

Short answer:

It means your eyes are properly protected in bright sun.

Longer, human answer:

UV light that damages your eyes sits below 400 nanometres.

When lenses are labelled UV400, it means they block all harmful UV rays, not just some of them.

So 400 is good. It is the cutoff point.

Nothing harmful gets through.

CAT3 simply means the lenses are dark enough to reduce glare in strong sunlight. They are ideal for everyday outdoor use like driving, walking, and beach days, but not too dark to be unsafe.

Are the sunglasses comfortable to wear all day?

Yes. Comfort was a major focus in the design. We spent 18 months refining the nose bridge to sit naturally, reduce pressure points, and stay comfortable throughout the day without slipping or pinching.

Will these sunglasses suit me?

The designs are intentionally classic. We tested multiple prototypes on hundreds of different faces and only moved forward once people consistently said, “these work.” The result is a set of shapes that feel easy to wear and suit a wide range of face types.

When will my sunglasses arrive?

We make our sunglasses in Sydney and dispatch standard orders the same day, Monday to Friday. Delivery times depend on your location, but most Australian orders arrive within a few days.

If you choose prescription lenses, allow up to 14 days for your sunglasses to be made before dispatch.

How do the coloured clip kits work and can I customise my glasses?

You can customise your glasses using either a coloured clip kit, or matching clips and arms. Clip kits include four colours that snap in by hand and give you five different looks. Matching clips let you keep a clean, uniform look, for example cola clips for a cola frame.

Our modular system means the same clips and arms fit all frame fronts, so you can swap colours or arms anytime without replacing the whole frame. Buy all spare parts here.

What are the frames made from?

Each frame is made from the recycled plastic of one 600ml plastic bottle. The material is processed to a high standard for strength and durability, then precision manufactured in Sydney using a mix of advanced robotics and skilled human hands where it matters.

Can these sunglasses be repaired?

Yes. The modular design allows parts like arms to be replaced or swapped, extending the life of your sunglasses.
